Song Of The Moment - Antoine Dodson & The Gregory Brothers - Bed Intruder Song

It started with revisiting Latarian Milton. Then I went to the Apparently Kid, which naturally led to his song. I even checked out Double Rainbow after I looked at the song this post is titled after.

But I'll be damned if the "Bed Intruder Song" doesn't sound as catchy as the day it was uploaded 4 years ago.

I just erased a paragraph trying to make a point of how a black man was exploited for laughs and how things in Ferguson makes this video more difficult to watch. But it doesn't for me. Maybe I'm an insensitive asshole but what happened/is happening in Ferguson is totally different from a dude warning everyone watching the news to hide everybody from a possible serial rapist.

Laugh people. Everything is going to be okay. We gon' find you.

The Slobberknocker Chronicles - Issue #4: No Time For Entrances

In episode 4, Thomas and I review WrestleMania 29. Or is it NY/NJ? Also, I profess my love of Ryback, Thomas gives the Big Show all the props he never gets, we preview Extreme Rules, Thomas makes a case for The Undertaker to headline WrestleMania for the rest of his career, discuss The Rock's injury, Paul Bearer's passing, our mutual hate of the WWE app, Thomas vents his frustration with the tag team division, and I explain how Road Dogg is a black man trapped in a white man's body. Ring the bell or feed us more!

Promos By Hyphen: How The Brock Lesnar Plan Worked

Promos By Hyphen: How The Brock Lesnar Plan Worked

I spend a lot of time in these columns groveling at the Creative team’s feet when something I’ve hated for months (years?) makes me a do a 180. But yet again, they’ve managed to do it.

They’ve made me care about Brock Lesnar.

It Came From YouTube: The Roots x Method Man - Protect Ya Neck

The Roots x Method Man

The Roots and Mr. Mef recreated the Wu-Tang classic "Protect Ya Neck" with Black Thought handling every verse other than Meth's and ODB's. Just another case of how criminally underrated Thought is. At least he has a consistent paycheck.

Spideyville TV: Can One Still Resist Hostess Fruit Pies?

A few years ago, inspired by Joe Budden TV, I spent a lot of time filming my every day activities. While most of those videos are safely put away now, I broke out the Spideyville TV banner when I faced the possibility of never eating another Hostess Fruit Pie willingly.

The pie won. Barely.

I Said It First: Casting Ghostbusters 3

I Said It First: Casting Ghostbusters 3

A few weeks ago, an email convo with Heather spawned my idea for a Jennifer Lawrence/Emma Stone comedy tag team. Today, I saw that Ghostbusters 3 may be led by a female team. So Heather and I wasted 40 seconds casting this sumbitch.

Ghostbusters
  • Lawrence - Probably in the Venkman role, so she gets the Sigourney Weaver character.
  • Stone - In a beefed up Ray role.
  • Emma Watson - As Egon's female counterpart.
  • Brie Larson - In Winston's role.
Lizzy Caplan and Lauren Cohan were replaced to get a younger cast.

As Lawrence's love interest: Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
Paul Dano as the new team's Janine.
And Aubrey Plaza committing herself to becoming a female Louis Tully.

It would work. You'd watch it. It'd make all the money. Rinse, wash, and slightly repeat in two years for the sequel.

You're welcome.
